Nudge in 90 Seconds – Customize Your Buying Signals
In Nudge, you can customize your buying signals, so you see updates only on topics that are interesting to your business.
To set your buying signals:
- click your Profile on the top right
- select Settings
- on the left-hand side, click Feed Preferences
There you’ll see that you can customize your news events.
When news articles come into Nudge, they’re scanned by our AI to see if they’re about a specific kind of event, such as a company merger, or an executive change. This is how we bring together sales intelligence with AI.
Here you can select which events you want to see updates on.
Selecting News Events
By clicking on a news event, you can turn it ‘on’ or ‘off.’
Those in blue are ‘on,’ so you’ll see updates on them, and the ones in red are ‘off.’
An event in white means that it’s marked as a lower priority – you’ll see updates on the blue events first, and then the white events second.
Nudge recommends turning on at least 8-12 events to get a good variety in your feed.
Unless you’re specifically looking for financial updates, we recommend turning off ‘Analyst Activity,’ ‘Divestiture,’ and ‘Market Report,’ since those generally have a lot of stock updates.
If you also want to see news outside of these categories, be sure to click the ‘show news outside of selected categories’ box at the top.
When you’re done, click save at the bottom, and within a few hours, the system will start customizing your tailored news feed.
Then you’ll start seeing updates that are helpful for your specific business.
